Actress Hansika Motwani has denied media reports that she met the casting couch and was harassed by a Telugu actor. In a tweet responding to one of those reports, Hansika wrote that she didn’t say what the report claimed to have. “I never gave this quote! Stop printing garbage,” she tweeted. In a second tweet, the actress took to the media and asked that the quotes be checked before they appear in news stories. “Posts urging you to cross-check before taking random news! I never made this comment that does the rounds. Please fact check before posting blindly,” she tweeted.
Reports claimed that Hansika faced inappropriate advances from a Telugu actor who “harassed” her asking for dates. “I taught him a good lesson, he won’t taunt me anymore” is the viral quote attributed to Hansika and which she denies saying.
