‘Om Shanti Om’ director Farah Khan speaks out on the death of Nitesh Pandey – Exclusive |  Hindi Movie News

Nitish Pandey (51) is no more. His wife Arpita Pandey is in absolute shock and unable to speak to her family members. Pandey, who was filming in Igatpuri, suffered cardiac arrest last night at 2am and died almost immediately. The police are at the hotel where he breathed his last and ask what exactly happened as they want to check if there was any foul play. A post-mortem report is awaited.

Nitesh Pandey was best known for the movie “Om Shanti Om” in which he played Shah Rukh Khan’s assistant. Nitesh was also a familiar face in TV series, currently he was playing Dheeraj Kumar in ‘Anupamaa’. ETimes TV had brought Nitesh’s death report FIRST and EXCLUSIVE.

A few minutes ago, we spoke to “OSO” director Farah Khan. Farah told ETimes: “I was very shocked to learn of Nitesh’s passing. We worked together in ‘OSO’ and I have fond memories of him. He was always ready to improvise and had good energy. on set. My condolences to his family.”

Nitesh Pandey’s brother-in-law Siddharth Nagarcontacted by us this morning, told us: “My brother-in-law is no more. My sister Arpita is in shock,” adding, “We have gone completely numb. Nitesh was a very lively person. I don’t think he had a history of heart disease.”
Nitesh was previously married to the actress Ashwini Kalsekar who is now married to actor Murli Sharma. Nitesh and Ashwini have been married for about 4 years.
