Rajesh Kumar remembers deceased actors Vaibhavi Upadhyaya and Nitesh Pandey.
It is a sad day for the TV industry as it has lost two of its industry gems, Vaibhavi Upadhyaya (32) and Nitesh Pandey (51). Upadhyaya is best known for her work in the popular sitcom, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai 2 while Nitesh has appeared in several shows and movies. His last appearance on the small screen was in Anupamaa where he tried out for the role of Rupali Ganguly’s brother. According to reports, Vaibhavi who was a frequent traveler had a road accident in Himachal Pradesh on May 23, Tuesday afternoon. She was with her fiancé when the vehicle spun out of control and took a sharp turn. Nitesh, meanwhile, succumbed to cardiac arrest.

Pinkvilla reached out to Rajesh Kumar, who has worked with Vaibhavi Upadhyaya and the Anupamaa actor. He told us, “Since this morning, I’ve been in shock. The kind of loss it is, there’s no respite for all of this life. These were the actors you wanted to grow old with and see us together in our 60s, 70s and 80s where we have a job behind us, and you remember everything you did and share those times We met when there was no cell phone and we We were more on the conversational side, and we know each other verbally, rather than knowing each other through our real life. We were real in our real life.

Recalling his good times with Pandey, Rajesh Kumar shared, “With Nitesh, I remember him telling the producers and everyone around the set that we both had the vibe we studied together. and that we were childhood friends. We used to pull each other’s legs and make fun of each other but there was also a lot of mutual respect for each other. If we teamed up on set, then it would be a roller coaster ride for everyone there. People used to dread our company that these two are now gonna mess with us. We were big bullies on set.”

Kumar also shared that Nitesh Pandey is a huge dog lover and extremely sensitive towards them. “If someone spoke ill of dogs, Nitesh would say to people, ‘What if someone spoke that way about your family members, would you like it?’ So he was so sensitive as a human being,” concluded Rajesh Kumar.
